Measured Surveys.
- All building types measured on site, or reproduced from existing hard copy dimensioned drawings in digital format. Plans, sections and elevations as required, and provided to client by email, disc, hardcopy printing or Jpeg/PDF.
Building Design.
- New build and remodelling residential and/or commercial conceptual designs for clients independent cost analysis and/or Design Build discussions with contractors.
- Detailed design drawings for District Council Resource Consent applications.
- Client Requirement specification issues to design/construct contractors for design or tender purposes, together with appraisal of contractor responses.
- Detailed construction drawings and building specifications where appropriate.
- Site progress reports and builder/site meeting attendance support.
Graphic Design.
- Bespoke marketing brochures and promotional material.
- Bespoke photographically produced memorabilia..
Photographic Surveys.

Derrick Byrom has had a distinguished career in both domestic and commercial architecture in the U.K. Many of his buildings having
been recognised for either their Architectural, Space Planning, Environmental, and/or Energy Conserving design solutions.
He has tutored Studio design at Leeds Metropolitan University, and was for many years Guest Editor of Yorkshire Architect magazine.
As a son, husband, father and grandfather Derrick is well placed to turn his extensive and expansive design abilities to family houses and retirement dwellings/developments to encompass all stages of the family cycle and needs of the disabled.
QUALIFICATIONS/PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATIONS
Diploma in Architecture, Leeds Metropolitan University, U.K.
Registered as an architect under the U.K Architects
Act 1997 Architects Registration Board no. 038458E.

Red Sky Design is a Building Design, Building Survey, and Graphic Design firm, formed by Derrick Byrom an experienced U.K architect and project manager, to provide a professional standard ,low cost ,design and detail service to private individuals and development companies in the Golden Bay, Nelson & Marlborough areas.
